Why The MOTHER Will Change EVERYTHING In Ahsoka Season 2

The Mother, known in Star Wars Legends as Abeloth is the fourth member of the Ones, the Force-wielding family introduced through the Mortis arc of The Clone Wars. While Canon has built outward from that family for over a decade, it has never named or shown her directly. Ahsoka Season 1 placed the Ones' monument on Peridea, brought Baylan Skoll to its outstretched hand, and showed the Great Mothers fleeing a power greater than their own. This essay walks through who the Mother is in Legends, the evidence in Season 1 that points to her, and what changes if Season 2 brings her in. The cosmology, the Chosen One prophecy, and the kind of villain the saga can hold all shift around her arrival.

as cool as this might be, what will likely happen is they find HER in the season finale and then we get to wait another 4 years to see what happens

The moment I see Abeloth, I'm going to the other side of the galaxy IMMEDIATELY!

Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan do remember what happened on Mortis, but they don't remember everything that happened.

I love the idea that Father and probably daughter (possibly even son) helped imprison her on a planet on the edges of a satellite galaxy outside of the main one, also personal theory, since the clone wars days I’ve been having some theories in my mind about the green force magic the Dathomir use, it’s so tied in with actual death that I’ve desperately hoped it was a connection to Her

This all makes incredible sense and I can totally see this! And they've talked about doing a movie going back in time. What if they did this, and told the origin story of the Mother, as well as telling the story of origin of the prophecy of the Chosen One. Unfortunately, I fear Disney is to afraid to go that deep in the lore weeds.

I have heard plenty of people call the father the representation of the cosmic force, I always assumed he represented balance in the force, either way I was always under the impression he had drank from the font, & bathed in the fountain, in equal amounts, (or maybe in conjunction with some secret 3rd thing) & thats how he became immortal.

Got the feeling Shin will become the mother

In the legends novels she was slowly introduced across multiple novels. So I have no idea how they are going to pull it off without screwing it up

What if the witches were once in charge of guarding abeloths cage(maybe before we would consider them night mothers/ sisters).

Perhaps they were given this task by the mortis gods. Then, over time, Abeloths influence managed to corrupt them, turning them into what we see in the modern timeline. Maybe granting them a more "unnatural" use of the force.

I always thought the prophecy of Anakin bringing balance to the Force wasn't necessarily promising a good thing for the Jedi. When Qui Gon met Anakin on Tatooine, as far as the Jedi were concerned, the Sith had been extinct for a generation. That meant the Light side had been ascendant. By helping Palpatine destroy the Jedi Order, he brought the Dark side back into power, basically tipping the Light side of the Force teeter-totter down, bringing balance, though the Empire was probably too far in the Dark direction. However, he later kills the Emperor, bringing the teeter-totter into balance. It didn't stay balanced, but the prophecy never said the Force would REMAIN balanced.

The only way she can change anything is to give that cast talent.

When are we going to get a Luke series that will show the new Jedi order? The OG Abeloth arc has been scrapped? I’ll be really disappointed if Asoka finishes her off in one episode by herself
