He's lucky they're jailing him. Mexico would have expedited his remains to his family with a note detailing his death. Home boy would have actually suffered.

Some days, I feel a little down. Lost, kinda meandering through life with no purpose. Then I remember there are ppl like Johnny out there, and things start to seem ok.

17:45 "Texas, buddy" came with an unspoken "and you're lucky we're not there right now"

Flee north Johnny, flee north, theres a a different korea called the people's republic to the north. Surely they'll appreciate your antics there.

Sounds like you missed the latest. The prosecutor filed charges to take the Obstruction of Business to trial 11/11. These investigations have been completed in record time. They usually take months, not two weeks. Looks like they are absolutely going for jail time.

Oh, as a first time offender, the sentence is likely to be fairly light. And then they can press charges for the drug use. And he'll be tried as a repeat offender. Then they can charge him for the assault charges. And individual citizens can also file charges against him. And with every trial, his record gets longer and the sentences more severe.

Yeah, he's cooked!

19:22 that guy who decked them was my buddy working at the bar in Osaka. I asked him about it after and he said he wasn’t proud of it. I tried to reassure him that the entire internet was thanking him for his deed 😂

I just find it funny that Johnny thought the South Koreans would be passive and non-reactionary when the South Korean men have to serve in the military for two years. So they have the training  to beat him up. 🤣🤣

Dishonor on him, dishonor on his cow

I JUST WISH Johnny had gone to the friendly country of Mexico first….Sinaloa or  Michoacán would welcome him with open arms!

Can we start a gofundme to raise money for the South Koreans government to pay for the cost of his incarceration in their country? That way he's not a financial burden to them locking him up for 10 years?

His immediate switch up when real consequences started happening is crazy. What a sociopath.

(A better word might be narcissist)

He's banned because he's facing charges. Basically it's there to avoid running to America and dodge the charges.

I was happier when I forgot this guy existed

I lived in Korea for two years and talked to many people who had siblings taken as comfort women. The horrible things that were done to them was disgusting. I think this is as bad as Logan Paul. I have several friends there who just hate him and what’s worse is he lies about being reformed then keeps doing it.

I feel like he could be charged with making terroristic threats.

I don't feel bad for Mr. Salami. As Oompa said once, "ROT!"

Fun and fresh opinion from someone who currently lives in South Korea as a foreigner, but who speaks Korean and is pretty well integrated into society. The problem with this guy is that he did something so ironically insulting and offensive to the national pride and spirit of Korean people, who are very much still angry about their historical occupation and oppression by Japan. In addition, his apologies are not genuine and he doesn't care about the legacy of these comfort women, and everyone knows it. So his current situation is deserved in the eyes of many, and personally, I have seen people get deported and fined for lesser offenses.
BUT the people who are mad with him are actually more of the FOREIGNERS who live in Korea than the actual Korean people. The reason is that as more and more foreign people come to Korea, people are more skeptical about their behavior and it intensifies xenophobia. This automatically puts a bad light on all of the other foreigners who are just minding their business. Some of us are actually here really trying to adapt and get along with people and follow their expectations for society. People like this just make it so that people assume the worst from us and treat us more coldly, or at worst case scenario, discriminate against long term residents like myself in their policies.
So yes, expats in korea, we collectively despise this guy.
I lived in Japan too. So I have the same opinion about what he did there, and the impact for the foreign community is the same.

"I'm from Texas brother" is not what I want to hear when I'm picking a fight

I never wished so hard for a guy to run into batman on a dark street lonely street on the Dark Knight's worst day.
