I love that you noticed how lightly and tastefully produced this is. Hiss, the blonde mouth trumpet/high harmony guy 2nd from the left, is the genius producer and mixer behind all of BPH's official recordings. It is EXACTLY his light but masterful touch in post that allows their raw talents to shine through while still popping cleanly in the videos.

Im 53 and this is the only group that has impressed me in like a decade. Beatpella has it all

HELL YEAH! DO ALL OF BPH!!!

@joepdenessen3874 2 months ago

So, from left to right, a short background on the members.
Huckle (Park Si-hoon, b. 1999) is a solo beatboxer known for his heavy, bassy style and lip rolls. The 2022 Korean Beatbox Champion, he joined in 2022 to provide the group's deep low-end frequencies.
Hiss (Choi Hyeon-seo, b. 2000) is a beatboxer recognized for his structured musical style. A Grand Beatbox Battle 2017 runner-up and Asia Beatbox Championship 2018 winner, he previously formed the duo BEATPELLA with Yella.E and handles much of the group's production.
Yella.E (Im Yeong-eun, b. 2000) is the primary vocalist and a singer under AEYLMUSIC. She originally formed BEATPELLA with Hiss in 2020 before the full group expanded, contributing both singing and percussive vocal elements.
Hellcat (Jang Dae-hyeon, b. 1998) specializes in rough, groove-heavy hip-hop styles. He is Wing’s partner in JackPot and has secured top placements in international competitions like the Grand Beatbox Battle.
Wing (Kim Geon-ho, b. 1997) is the group’s leader and a beatboxer known for his clean flow and technical precision. An Asia Beatbox Champion, he leads the crew TYTD and forms the tag team JackPot with Hellcat.
And thank you, Brian! xD

Thanks for checking out Beatpella House!

Some quick profiles:

Yella.E (woman): Lead singer and co-lead rapper. Vocal chameleon. Co-founder of Beatpella with Hiss before everyone else joined in 2022 to form Beatpella House. Only started learning beatboxing after BPH formed, can hold down the hi hats in the crew and does some basic looping in her solo work.

Hiss (blond): Specializes in the melodies and harmonies with instrumental sounds, especially brass. Has the best trumpet in the world. Youngest person to hold the title of GBB Vice-World Champion (Solo category, 2017, age 17), current Tag Team Vice-World Champion (GBB25) with WING. Also a national level DJ, and does all the mixing and mastering for the crew with a very minimalist production style.

Hellcat (bald): Lead percussionist (very notable in a field where percussion is literally in the name of the discipline) and co-lead rapper. Also a specialist in weird and random sound effects. As part of the Tag Team Jackpot with WING has achieved 4th place at GBB23 (throwing the match in rather spectacular fashion).

Huckle (muscular): Lead bassist, with possibly the best sub-bass lip rolls in the world. As part of the Tag Team 2REAL with Hiss achieved 9th place at GBB18. Did mandatory military service in the same unit as WING.

WING (glasses): Crew leader, says his role is to fill in the gaps, is 2nd or 3rd best in the crew at most techniques (the crew knows over a thousand between them). Easily top 3 throat bass in the world, and almost certainly the cleanest. Lead composer and lyricist. Current Vice-World Champion in both the Solo and Tag Team categories. Known for being absurdly clean even by pro beatboxer standards. Has toured with G-Dragon on and off for the last year and a bit.

Beatpella House regularly performs live throughout South Korea and has performed internationally elsewhere in East and Southeast Asia (eg Japan and Indonesia). They also notably performed at the 2025 MBC Music Festival with their MUT Medley, a mash-up of a couple dozen songs they were able to perform in front of the original artists; it's a somehow even more incredible version of their K-Pop Medley.

My favorite Beatbox group. Love your look

@ryokomasaki7743 2 months ago

Yella E. is a great vocalist and she is learning to beatbox from the guys. The 4 beatboxers are all world class with many awards between them. Hiss is the name of the blond guy that echoed Yella and made the trumpet sounds. He's usually the one who mixes and masters their tracks with such a fine touch. All of their content is worth a watch, but 4 great ones to react to are the K-Pop Medley, Enter Heaven, Hip Hop Medley, and Eternal Ember (the 2025 LCK T1 Home Ground LIVE version).

ANY Beatpella House is Amazing. But like your commenter said, Yella E (the singer) has AMAZING range and she can beatbox too, and shes gorgeous. The Complete package

Now that you heard all 5 of them you must hear how they are solo.Wing - Aventador is completely insane.Wing is the glasses dude.

@Treached 2 months ago

You really should deep dive the Beatpella House rabbit hole, you will not be disappointed

@ganekim 2 months ago

They also have ‘Enter Heaven.’ There are so many others too. Anyone would be shocked....

@arwenundomiel6687 2 months ago (edited)

They actually come.with their own DJ. 😊 Hiss, the blonde guy sitting next to the girl (Yella) is a dj, as well as the one who mixes and masters all their songs and is heavily involved in producing all their group and individual tracks. He has released many remixes of other beatboxers' popular songs/battle rounds. For an example of his dj skills and how he remixes beatbox tracks, check out his GBB21 DJ showcase. It's a longer video (20ish minutes), but it's amazing and has the whole crowd going crazy.

Is this your 1st time with BeatPella? There's alot of Opera Singers i followed that's hearing to them as 1st time ended up going all down their rabbit hole.. They're so amazing

My pre-canned intro to new BPH reactors:

BPH is pushing beatboxing to new heights and expanding the possibilities of what it can do. BPH has been together for 3 years as an ensemble, but the 4 guys have been beatboxing for 6-11 years each and they are all championship-level (top-ranked GBB) beatboxers. The vocalist, Yella.E, is a star-quality singer and baby beatboxer (she's been learning to beatbox for 2 years now).

In this video, from right to left:

*WING (tall guy) - music director of BPH, known as probably the cleanest beatboxer in existence. His solo video "Dopamine" went viral last year and is still blowing up the internet. He has an incredible throat bass, vibration bass, and all-around beatbox talent. He is a generational talent.

*Hellcat (baldie) - percussion specialist, rapper, color, crickets/chirps

*Yella.E (the woman) - Incredible vocal chameleon. She can change her tone and timbre to match anybody she is covering. She has an incredible range, vocal control, and she can rap (she raps Cardi B better than Cardi B).

*Hiss - known for synths, mouth trumpet, brass, high harmonies, inward click rolls, and, yes, fart bass. Hiss is also the genius producer/mixer/engineer behind their official recordings. His light but masterful touch on EQ and reverb really makes the vocals pop and sound so clean. Nothing is over-produced or filtered.

*Huckle - the designated subwoofer of BPH. Sub-bass, 808s, all-around percussion and color. He has some of the lowest-pitched lip rolls in beatboxing.

Covers: KPop Medley, Hip-Hop Medley, Pink Venom, Ticking Away, Undefeated

Originals - Rob Roy, Candy Thief, Freaky Monday, Swimming Beetles, Eternal Ember

Solo/duos: 7uk, Umaga, Sailor, Dopamine, Dopamine DnB Remix, Objet, In the Middle of the Rhythm, Pull Up, Juggling, Flip, Bounce, Traveler, Habanera, Triviallusion, Phenomenon, aaaaand probably a few more that I am forgetting.

DO. ALL. OF. IT.
