When working with resin prints, you are much better off using a razor saw to separate pieces than clippers or a knife. Either of the latter will cause the resin to flex as you cut into it, causing breakages as you found with the roof.

The model came out brilliant! My heart just about stopped when the roof broke.

This is WAY too underrated! This is amazing I’m just about finished watching it so know I will watch the Edward-Thomas video! This is amazing also I love the part where you say you hate the cream interior painting 😂

Heres a tip. When it comes to brushed detail , like that cab cream especially,  use enamel paints. One coat coverage means half the buggering about

Extraordinary quality build as always, I just received one of those Percys for the chassis in the post a few days ago, they have no business being as good as they are!

Perfect Loco there👍 I believe the Skarloey coach was painted in Douglas’ left over blue. Great watch as always

Looks amazing! Douglas has so much character and stands out so much on the Talyllyn. Just the same with Alf

Very impressed with the detail on this one.

Great finish George! The transfers really complete the model

A lovely looking model, Resin and 3D printing really do seem to be revolutionising the model world. I don't model in 009 but your channel is a great watch and is making it difficult for me not to have a dabble.

Very cool, and will look amazing with a crew.

This is great, having seen the real loco this year, you have done a great representation. Also the weathering is a nice touch. Regards James

The RAF blue just can't be beat.

Great idea with the cotton buds

incredible video mate and well i just ordered some TR kits from westcliff thanks to your build video

Absolutely love how this one came out - I am impressed by how well the mechanism hides on this thing, and I wish I had your painting skills :)) Westcliffe really did an amazing job, and so did you, so I am incredibly excited for more Tallylyn locos .

For couplings, my personal vote would be the same ones as the Corris layout, partially for consistency and partially so you have the option of running stock from one on the other for interest if that's ever something you want to - but this layout is a different location and era so go with whatever works :))

Great work. I’ve used Light Railway Stores for custom made plates. They do great work as well.

Super satisfying.
Felt like that Toy Story 2 scene of the oldman fixing Woody!
With the Walchaerts Valve Gear it would be Perfect.

Brilliant model as always, keep it up!

I’m new to model railways but Iv inherited a 009 railway and love the Tal so I’m unashamedly copying you 😅😅😅 so much to learn but I’m enjoying it
