Our first days in Panama felt like we had found paradise. 🇵🇦🌴
A full-moon beach walk. An incredible Airbnb with 180-degree ocean views. Beachfront living, five pools, amazing food, new friends, beach dogs, tide pools, and even a home church. We were soaking in everything Nueva Gorgona and the neighboring town of Coronado, had to offer and wondering if this could be a place we’d want to stay longer.
But somewhere around the halfway point, things began to change.Building problems. Constant construction. An earthquake. A medical emergency. And by the end of our stay, it felt like one thing after another was telling us:
Maybe it was time to go.
This was one of those travel experiences where the beginning was incredible, but the ending reminded us that sometimes a beautiful place isn't necessarily the place you're meant to stay.
