Life After Moto – Episode 35 | Ft. Davi Millsaps
Davi Millsaps spent years at the top level of professional motocross and Supercross. From winning the 2006 250SX East Championship to becoming a two-time 450SX title runner-up, winning the Monster Energy Cup, and claiming a Canadian motocross championship, Davi built one hell of a career.
But his exit from racing wasn’t the way he planned it.
After a devastating crash left him with a major concussion, bleeding in and around his brain, and a shattered elbow, Davi was forced to make the decision to walk away from the sport.
In Episode 35, we sit down with Davi to talk about the side of his story that came after the racing—the struggle of losing the career he had built his entire life around, finding his identity away from the bike, family, and eventually finding his way back into motocross in a completely different role.
From racer to husband and father, and eventually back into the paddock as a coach and mentor, Davi’s story is a powerful look at what happens when the life you thought you knew suddenly changes.
