Filmed on February 23, 2026. This time I went to Shiga Kogen Ski Resort in Nagano Prefecture.
Shiga Kogen Ski Resort boasts the largest course area in Japan, covering 400 hectares.
Shiga Kogen Ski Resort is actually a collective term made up of 18 ski resorts of various sizes, including Yakebitaiyama Ski Resort and Yokoteyama Ski Resort. In this video, I start from Shibu Toge Ski Resort on the far right of the slope map and head towards Okushiga Kogen Ski Resort on the far left of the map, to see how many ski resorts we can visit in one day.
Watching this video will give you an idea of just how large this huge ski resort is and what its structure is like.
