"This show did not have a single match above 2 and a half stars. It had one match that I gave MINUS FIVE STARS!"

-Bryan Alvarez, 2009

Seems like Nash enjoyed the show. He didn’t even blink.

Alvarez would've given it Minus Six stars if it were in the Tokyo Dome

The fact this event happened in 2009...when tna was still a good alternative to wwe breaks my heart even more

When Botchamania had that clip of Mick Foley saying "ladies and gentlemen, what you’re about to witness…is truly hideous"

Maffew meant it.

Nash is looking at the TV like, "This show could use more finger pokes."

You hit it on the nail Bryan! “Too many wrestlers are working for free”. I appreciate the talent but at the same time you gotta feed yourself and your family.

“MINUS 5 STARS!!!” - Bryan Alvarez

To borrow a phrase from Brian Zane: Never before, Never again...GOD WILLING!

Every time you say "The Beautiful People" I hear a Marilyn Manson echo in my mind

Tna: we are not wwe, 8 of the 9th matches of that ppv  involved former wwe stars and made Foley world champion before the ppv

Jenna's entrance to the ring and her pin deserve a "Doing it for the Content" T-Shirt cover up.

Jenna getting stomped on and just laying there like she's actually dead made me chuckle

Started watching this again for what I thought was no reason but...RIP Daffney

10:03 As two men in the wrestling reviewing circle once put it...
"We have...the match."
"That match..."

For me, the most baffling thing about the "Slick Johnson having sex with Madison Rayne in exchange for biased refereeing in favor of the Beautiful People" reveal is how Madison, upon running into Lauren, she tells Lauren to keep her mouth shut about this -- **DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA THAT WAS ALREADY IN THE ROOM**. Like, this wasn't the kind of wrestling segment where there's a camera, but you're meant to suspend your disbelief a bit and not acknowledge the camera; it was literally a segment of Lauren speaking to the fans and the commentary table specifically to give them a follow-up on the Slick Johnson thing from the opener. The fact that people outside of the room were watching the segment, and everyone in it, AS IT HAPPENED IN REAL TIME, was acknowledged, which means the camera was part of the segment and was there the whole time, SO HOW EXACTLY WAS LAUREN MEANT TO NOT TELL ANYONE ABOUT MADISON BOINKING SLICK WHEN A LIVE CAMERA CAUGHT THEM IN THE ACT???

To paraphrase Roger Ebert - “I hated this PPV. Hated hated hated hated hated this PPV. Hated it. Hated every simpering stupid vacant audience-insulting moment of it. Hated the sensibility that thought anyone would like it. Hated the implied insult to the audience by its belief that anyone would be entertained by it.”

All this PPV needed was Tony Schiavone to announce during the Sharmell/Jenna match that this is the greatest night in the history of our sport.

12:23 SPOILER ALERT: A Wrestling With Wregret first, which is no surprise on THIS match.

Brian on the first Classic PPV review: “ I don’t think I’m gonna do negative star reviews”
