When you're OCD tour guide wants to show you everything and yet nothing at the same time

That was a fun ADHD ride. Guess we never circled back around to the stairwells?

To tell the story of A, we first have to look at B, but first, C, However, you have to understand D which requires knowledge of E.

It feels strange saying you miss a building but I miss these 2 towers

Would It be bad for me to say that It was probably best that Minoru Kawasaki passed away before 9/11 Happened. To see his largest building crumble would be devastating to him 😢

I had a job interview near the top floor of one of the towers back in 1987. I looked out of one of the windows just before the interview and thought to myself "what happens if there is an emergency and I have to evacuate the building?". I never went back. Something about looking out of that window made me think twice.

It’s been 25 years and I still can’t believe they’re gone.

The slurry wall was not built just for the tower, but for the entire basin of the WTC complex.

A word- you didn't need a clear day to see NJ from the towers. NJ was just across the Hudson River.

My parents took my sister and me to Windows on the World for brunch. My uncle worked at Cantor at the time. It was two weeks after the Empire State building shootout in the 90s. I didn't remember the food (was 7 at the time) but I do remember sitting and the building swaying. We wandered around to the banquet rooms, wine class areas, the bar as well. The restaurant space itself and banquet areas were enormous. The view was of course the best thing. And I still have photos of us in the plaza after lunch down on the ground floor. Kind of weird looking back now but won't ever forget the experience of it.

this used to be the tallest building in the world, overtaking the Empire State Building, and it got overtaken by the Sears Tower in Chicago

The storyline jumped around in so many ways

The Twin Towers were more complex buildings than I originally thought. The TV & Radio transmitter floor was larger than I (initially) expected it to be!

The helipads on top of the towers were used to rescue 20-something people after the 1993 bombing.

On 9/11, Rockefeller made sure that all the doors to the roofs were locked with no one to open them.

I built a model of the Twin Towers between 2009 and 2014, and it led to an unforgettable meeting with Leslie Robertson in New York on May 19, 2016. I will never forget that day.
