Would appreciate a little announcement from Lego like "Btw this is or isn't the end of this line"

This Hogwarts system feels like a Hail Mary before Lego shifts focus to adapting the upcoming HBO series. As someone who owned the 2001 and 2010 era sets growing up, I never could have imagined a set like this being sold at retail. I would say that it’s easily the best version of Hogwarts ever released, but I think they all offer something unique to the table.
A little off-topic, but I hope you cover the 2010-2011 sets in your Revisiting Harry Potter series. They were a revelation to 9 year old me at the time, and I think they’re underrated today.

For those who haven't read the books, the Bloody Baron looks quite different in them.
In the books, the Bloody Baron is described as "a gaunt, silent specter with wide, staring, blank eyes, dressed in robes completely covered in silver bloodstains."

If the Harry Potter team can figure out Moaning Myrtle and the other ghosts there's no reason the Star Wars team can't figure out force ghosts!!!

I've never been much of a Harry Potter fan, but wow this setup is insane, I do wish Ninjago had this level of compatibility between sets

I really really want them to make an astronomy tower, they could even put a divanation class in it!! But everyone has been saying they think this is the last one.
I might canibalize the pieces from flyinglessions and maybe the owlery to make my own version of it of they dont

7:26 if you look bellow the toilet tower. You can see a little gap. Meaning its a poop hole! A historical things on castles.

It is insane to me that LEGO doesn't design more themes like this. It would be so cool to get another Rancor pit and Jabba's Palace

I want to believe this lineup will continue for at least 1 more year, breaking the 3 year rule. Maybe alongside the hbo sets like how 2018 wave was shared with fantastic beasts sets. Afterall playscale diagon alley has been going on for 4 years and they still need leaky cauldron and gringotts, so movie sets still have high potential. If they do continue, I would love a clock tower module with a room of requirements larger than the gwp one, divination classroom and the wooden bridge connecting to hagrids hut. An astronomy tower module would also be great next to east wing with maybe slytherin dormitory that connects to the gate in east wings base and the suspension bridge to connect to hospital wing. Following the house ghosts they can make an updated peeves and professor binns. An additional expansion with bell towers would be nice as well but thats pushing it.

NGL Modulars are the way forward for lego stuff. Like I don't mean the big expensive ones but sets designed to connect and be put together, like hogwarts, the mini modulars, hell even just having some land with clips at the bottom with ways to connect it to all the other stuff is just exciting

I think it's funny that the Boathouse has been removed from the official layout. It's actually my favourite set of the bunch.

Love the hogwarts castle! I wonder if they will finish the entire look or just leave it with this front area

I get the vibe this system might be intended to help parents and kids share in the experience. Big expensive sets for the collectors but with play features to enthrall the kids.  And I think spreading the cost over multiple sets rather than one giant, super expensive one helped make it a bit more accessible to more people. Still expensive, but easier to handle by spreading it out.

I really hope LEGO continues this theme--at least through an Astronomy Tower.  If not, I look forward to all the Rebrickable creativity to add more elements to this sytem.

next has got to be the whomping willow and the Astronomy tower

I wish I had the space to display all these because it looks absolutely beautiful ! Especially those new moulds

Next they should add the quidditch stadium

It kinda bothers me that they keep resetting these systems every 3 years, but this is the best the castle has ever looked in play scale.
If only they were able to add the Clock Tower, Astronomy Tower, bell towers, and etc.

I made the decision at the beginning of this series that, even setting aside the high cost, I simply did not have the space to collect this version of Hogwarts. I've mostly come to terms with it, but dang if it doesn't hurt seeing how beautiful it all looks together!

As someone who isn’t a HP fan I don’t understand why they don’t do this with other lines. I’d sell my kidneys for a an expandable Arkham Asylum.
