It is wild how the lore is when it comes to the military complex

I’ve spent a large portion of my life in the American Army stationed up North and I’ve got to say. The most grueling and exhausting training is during the winter months, winter warfare is some of the worst you can experience. Everything is out to kill you.

2:52 Also important thing you left out is that T-45 was a rushed stop gap, it was never supposed to be the finnished product, that was T-51.

The dude behing operation anchorage repeatedly re living it was actually based on reality. Ww2 vets playing the medal of honor ww2 games was legendary. They became obsessed with it. A friend of mine who was Fallujah plays the game over and over again, its a type of therapy tbh. Afaik, chase being obsessed with it comes from some of the developers experiences with real vets doing this irl. I intentionally avoid iraq war mods when playing arma because of it lol

The irony. It released 24 minutes ago for me and the opening line... Like catching a fresh news release just as it's being aired.

I don't know how you guys continuously are able to think about hour long content every week, but thank you. I just love fallout and listening to you guys just talk about lore is so nice.

i wish there was more canon lore about annexed canada. im from canada i want to hear about my country and the shit its fallen into in the fiction. completely ignoring the stuff being said by the senile guy across our southern border because id like to think it wont be anything more than 'old man (with an entire military under his command) shouts at cloud'

Do not know of the "Davy Crockett"?

I think general Chase had at least some information about the upcomming nuclear war, and was "loosing it", trying to preserve his legacy and heroic image using the simulation.

One thing that has got me intrigued is the gobi campaign, that is so close to the USSR. What was their stance with US troops being so close to their borders, did they get involved in the war, is it possible their close proximity to the Siberian border made them launch some nukes too?

War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.

there's an exploit in the dlc where if, when you are in the camp, you can drop your weapons and ammo on the ground, go back to the terminal in the tent, get a new requisition holotape, turn it in to the quartermaster, go and drop the weapons and ammo on the ground where you did before, rinse and repeat until you have lots of ammo and weapons.

After reading wiki and many sources about Fallout game talking about Us military, i have always feeling that battle reports heavily censored (by Fallout US military) due to ongoing war. I hope next games provide new lore that explain more

43:54 something that's also worth mentioning is in the simulation, you can convince jingwei to commit seppuku. Even though that's a thing from feudal Japan. And he's Chinese. So it wouldn't make sense for him to do that at all. I feel like that's another thing in the pile of evidence that says operation anchorage is not how the events really happened
