I'm not sure which I enjoy the most from JW's commentary, the extremely useful learning experience or the subtle dryness of his humour.

Did basic electrical work many years ago, and decided to wire shed for light and power. This video was great revision on how to do it and made it easy to remind me what to do.. electrician who came to check it was happy with all that I had done.. thank you so much.. saved me a fortune. :)

I’ve just come across this video, it is undoubtedly the best explanation I’ve ever seen for any subject!! Many thanks.

May I say your voice is very easy on the ear, which makes listening to your video all the more enjoyable.

I've watched hours of videos on this because I can't get an electrician for love or money. I was really struggling to grasp it. This video switched a light on in my brain- finally! THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🙏👍💥 xox

Very well explained, no need to waste time on those useless trade forums where they argue amongst eachother!

Thanks John as always. Newly qualified electrician here and have learnt so much from your videos over time.

Very informative, and well done on simplifying something which has puzzled me for years. Got my head around basic lighting circuits within 24 minutes, perfect.

Thanks. All well explained. I have a rusty and predominantly non working lighting circuit (undercounter lights) that needs removing. Watching this to understand how much work required. Your further videos on switches will enlighten me more.

Wish I had had this guy teaching me this stuff at school!

What an excellent video! This has actually saved me a lot of money. I had my ceiling plastered and the plasterer took the lights down but had no idea how to put them back.
