We'll get a new Samukai for the 20 year anniversary, trust me.

From one of the designer interviews, they said that the budget for this set was stretched so thin that they literally couldn't afford to include all the ninja masks They wanted to prioritise giving Jay his mask, otherwise it would be locked behind the display set. The idea was that if you bought every January legacy set, you'd have two full versions of the ZX ninja, as you get a ZX hood for Kai in the blacksmith shop and Cole is pretty cheap coming in the polybag. Hence, why they choice Kai and Cole to have the hairpieces in this set.

You can tell PythFenn is a Ninjago fan because he is physically unable to form sentances without a Ninjago reference (we all relate)

Apparently the reason a couple of the ninja don't have hoods is because they quite literally DIDNT HAVE THE BUDGET to include the masks for kai and cole😊

I much agree that Young (Sensei) Garmadon was the minifig I was more excited for than the First Spinjitzu Master. We’ve had Wu in his black robes since the pilot era sets, so it’s about damn time his brother followed suit since Season 4 and 7

We did get to see the fsm's face once (although only partially) in season 1, during wu's flashback to when gamradon was bit by the devourer

I am too broke for the set, but I get it. They have a lot of Lego pieces though that’s why it’s expensive. I wish they had the dragon figures in like cheap sets like the smaller ones, but this year is kind of fire though.

The Blacksmith guy is a reoccurring student hes in 71787 as a trainie and a few other sets which feature him as a dojo student and now a blacksmith maybe something Kai taught him.

6:56 I don’t think that even she is going to use this hair piece in the set

Oh my gosh, watching your channel and everything covering Lego… I’ve always been a huge Lego fan, but for someone who never really had a lot of money and I still don’t… see so many of these Lego sets and mini figures as well as the occasional commercial clip or clip from the Ninjago series. It really shows how old I am and how much time has gone by oh my goodness… by the way I’m 40 years old😆 so I’m actually really enjoying watching these videos of yours a lot thank you so much❤
