A mother says she gave her daughter everything—love, support, birthday parties, and a stable home. But shortly after turning 17, everything changed.

What started with her daughter challenging her authority escalated to police involvement, a hospital evaluation, and her daughter moving in with her father.

Now this mother is hurt, frustrated, and says she's washing her hands of the situation.

But here's the question: *Can you be a good parent and still have a child who rebels against you?*

In today's Aaron Real Talk reaction, we're having an uncomfortable conversation about parenting teenagers, discipline, accountability, childhood experiences, and why society is so quick to blame parents when relationships with their children fall apart.

Let me be clear: Loving your children doesn't mean you're a perfect parent. But having problems with your children doesn't automatically make you a bad one either.

And there's a big difference between setting boundaries and giving up on your child.

💬 *LET'S TALK:*
Do you believe parents are always responsible when their children rebel? Or do children need to take accountability for their own behavior?

I want to hear from parents AND adult children in the comments.
