Welcome To The Party

UConn women’s basketball head coach Geno Auriemma does a drive by the pod — he’s got the rings in the trunk, stories in the glovebox — and nothing’s off limits. Geno talks about the next chapter of UConn basketball led by Azzi Fudd and rising star Sarah Strong, what it’s like coaching in a world of transfer portal chaos, and how the program keeps evolving through generations of stars like Taurasi, Bird, and Bueckers. Plus, he dishes out a few senior superlatives to some of his all-time greats.

Fun interview. I have been living the UCONN women's basketball phenomena since 1995 here in Connecticut. He is the GOAT and so genuine with his time to share with others his thoughts and feeling. Well done.

Authenticity.
To all the people that can't stand Geno, once he retires you can learn to love and appreciate him, that's how that works. He is a treasure.

This was one of if not the best interview I have seen of Geno!! You rocked it! I have been a huge fan since the early 90’s, love Geno and UConn Women’s basketball. I’ve seen tons of interviews, but not like this. You did amazing!! 💙

A thoughtful, professional interview, offered insight into how and why players progress, want to play for him, and that they really get his full attention. No wonder they speak so highly of him, feel such warmth for him. And some are near SS age. He’s found truths that last, a key to unchanging human nature.

I love Geno. I have been a huge UCONN fan for a long time because of him. His comments and insights are priceless. If there is ever a woman's sports museum he needs to ABSOLUTELY be featured. He has done so much for women and women's sports. It brings tears to my eyes when I try to comprehend it.
I am now a subscriber. I look forward to your content- you can't go wrong with women's sports. : D
