Love your content brother. Keep informing. Iβm black American but I do plan on relocating to Kenya permanently in time. Iβve lived here for years but go back and forth. I find your channel very relatable and informative even though Iβm not a Kenyan diaspora
Oh yes, Okot Bitek, one of my favorite books too. I also had to buy a copy. Once I return I plan on having a book shelf, with African and African American authors.
Spot on. I gave up on pleasing the politicians if they come to diaspora. They are sweet talkers but do us nothing when they go back home. It's an illusion trying to run as a politician from diaspora. The numbers don't lie
Brother Iβm one of the folks planning to come after 20yrs and kids grown and graduating college next year , it would be helpful if you broke down how much it will cost for someone to sustain and prosper
Wow that's true i have a cousin who wants to come and vie for mp seat after 30 years. personally my sis and i are 100% sure he will fail the terrain in nyando is very different we decided not to stop him coz he will see us like negative agents
Even if you know who ka who, you will not be elected. Even a politician coming from Mombasa to vie in the village is considered" foreigner/diasporan' in his or her own village. If you have money to waste instead of going for political elective position, use that money to get a position in a government department so you can learn how gtound works, but then the work ethic in those government job may not be favourable to you
Interesting π€ππ€ book π reading African authors was Wisdom. Diaspora people are viewed as foreigners . Just like city dwellers are seen by villagers as foreigners and they eat your goods and not vote for you. They know city dwellers only visit at Christmas πππ and leave after New Year's Eve or before because they love fireworks πππ.same ideology with Diasporians . In Uganda Africa they are called SUMMERS ABA SUMMER β±οΈπ , they are not taken seriously ππ³π yet people want to take your money π€π°π€ and gift πππ but will rarely vote you . They think your kids don't speak π£οΈ native languages or their month tongue π but speak π£οΈ in American accents .
The following lived in the diaspora before they went back home to join politics: Najib Balala Mwangi Kiunjuri Kabando wa Kabando The Narok Senator Jakoyo Midiwo Uhuru Kenyatta Ole Kiyapi Richard Onyonka Etc
Wuon forgot a couple things people never contract Malaria in this cold areas.Secondly hapa Coral Gables,FL hakuna winter weather is good always in conjunction with our best beaches in the world. Most Kenyans I think belong hapa Coral Gables.
WHY THESE RETURNEES ARE FAILING MISERABLY IN KENYA..
