His ex wife needs to stay the heck out of his business and that bank manager needs to keep his mouth shut. He could of gotten himself sued over telling everyone a client's financial business.

why was he still communicating with this meridian person after his encounter with fed goons? Then he goes and tells everyone in town through a microphone!? No one's going to listen and you risk the goons coming back ending you the next time they take you away. Just go to your shelter and forget everyone else. They won't listen anyway.

Well…that was probably the best zombie story I’ve ever heard.

Just plain survivor guilt at the end. Of course he wanted everyone to apologize and say he was right. It’s human nature. You save who you can, and mourn the rest.
