Omg 💀 not him thinking Vogue was in black & white because color wasn’t available in the 1990s. I am deceased. Gen Z please read a book 😭

Madonna is the legendary Queen of Pop, the icon, the blueprint, the trendsetter, the most successful female music artist of all-time!

The dance style was Voguing. Popular in the gay ballroom scene, especially with black & hispanic men. Madonna brought it to the mainstream along with their House Music.

Madonna wrote the book on becoming a female superstar . Everything you see Lady Gaga doing today, is right out of the Madonna playbook. She has a HUGE music catalog and she was well known for tapping into many of the top djs of the time to remix her music into a variety of musical genres from house, to techno, trance and more, so her music was played everywhere. If you hear a Madonna song and it's not to your liking, look around online because there is probably 10 other versions of it out there.

Done in black and white to echo old Hollywood.

Certified the best selling female artist of all time and also still holds the record for most club #1s.  Yeah, she can be groovy.

The black and white is a reference to old Hollywood stars and glamor of the silver screen. It's based on ballroom culture which is basically black trans drag queens from New York. David fincher directed the video. He's one of the greatest living directors. Flawless.

Hello Gentlemen, when Vogue was released I was cabin crew (flight attendant) for an airline that had huge airplanes (L-1011) we had 15 cabin crew and during boarding (passengers coming on the plane), Vogue would be playing and the cabin crew would do the Vogue dance. The passengers loved it.
Side note to show you how well known Madonna and Michael Jackson are. I was in Ethiopia, a country in the Horn of Africa, and people living in huts made of sticks and mud knew who they are. They had never heard their music but just the names.

A Legend! "Vogue" is a deep house track with heavy disco influences (co-produced with Shep Pettibone) and it is the most famous mainstream interpretation of the Harlem underground ballroom scene, drawing directly from the rhythm and attitude of queer Black and Latino subcultures.

The biggest selling female music artist in history. Go down that rabbit hole, starting at the beginning. You won't be disappointed. The Queen of Pop!

Big respect to you guys fir checking older artists like Madonna! Please, don't stop with her music. She will surprise you with her versatility and creativity

Queen of Pop 👑

Guys she's also known for reinventing the concert experience as hers have always been theatrical and spectacle as you see them today. Her 'Blond Ambition, Drown World, Sticky and Sweet, and MDNA" tours are among my favorites. 🤘

Madonna CREATED pop music the way we understand it today, the concept of eras, the modern idea of a live concert, revolutionized videoclips and much more. Every popgirl that came after her followed her steps, some even copied her blatantly (LG, I am looking right at you)

This song at the MTV Music Awards was ICONIC!!!

53 yrs old and this Shit still gives me  goosebumps! Even though I've heard it  thousands of Times!

More Madonna: Justify My Love, Erotica, Open Your Heart, Like a Prayer, Express Yourself, Cherish, Frozen, Ray of Light, Borderline, Like a Virgin, Material Girl, Papa Don't Preach, Deeper and Deeper, Rain, Crazy for You. Also please react to Vogue - 1990 MTV VMA live performance!

Oh, you sweet summer children.  Your journey has just begun.

Yes young generation, this is woman, who built the foundations of music despite bans and beatings from people who didn't believe in her and didn't take her seriously. This is the queen of pop alongside Michael Jackson 👑😎🫵

Into the groove is my fav Madonna song. And it’s her original look/style that everyone tried to dress like in the first half of the 80s.
