The Sony PS3 was home to great High Definition Remasters based on classic PS2 franchises. Here are some of my favorites from the game collection along with what is new and special about each.

Legend of Dragoon for PS1 desperately needs a remake!!

I'm currently playing the Splinter Cell Collection on PS3. I also have The Tomb Raider Trilogy. Some people were annoyed by all these remakes but nobody is forcing you to buy them. They are a great opportunity for people who missed the games the first time around and a reason for hardcore fans to revisit them. Many of these collections are on my wanted list.

I would love to see a remaster of Time Splitters 2, and Future Perfect. It would be a dream come true if they did that.
I also wish that they would remaster SSX tricky, SSX 3, and On Tour

Timesplitters Collection, PLEASE, SONY, ARE YOU LISTENING!!!

I'd love to see a Legacy of Kain HD Collection. So many great games !

I believe the Onimusha series really deserve an HD Collection treatment! I love those games and I know many others do too, so that should be a no brainer. It's just a shame that Capcom seemingly abandoned the series for good...

The Prince of Persia HD trilogy is another great one as well as the plethora of single game HD games offered via LIVE or PSN (GTA: SA, Beyond Good and Evil, Banjo K., etc.). Great video overall and awesome production values - keep up the great work buddy!

On the MGS HD remaster, the addition of camera control on MGS2&3 was an amazing addition.

Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena, which also included the HD remake of Escape from Butcher's Bay is so damn amazing on ps3. I loved it so much that I bought it again for my PC as well off of GOG.

There's also Prince of Persia HD collection, with 3 games for PS2.

Wow the HD Remake of the Jak & Daxter series look beautiful. I might have to pick it up, I played hours of Jak II and it would be great to re-experience that in HD.
