i wish it hadn't been 2 years since you made this video!! i am in my mid 30s now but i had to get emergency dental surgery to remove all of my teeth besides four anchors on the bottom, and in doing that of course had to quit my job. i had to go to a pay scale based dental office, and the dentures i had made were more than likely the cheapest quality. i got a new job a week after receiving them so because of vanity i couldn't even imagine going in for them to take the full top or partial bottom to adjust them and send them off for a week or more so i just made adjustments. i had to use tons of glue every 6 hours to keep them in. this was around 5 years ago. i did have to send them in one time to have a front tooth glued back in and it was very obviously not the same color or length. it seemed as if they just super glued a new tooth back in without color match. over the past few years i have dropped them and chipped a side off the back not damaging the actual teeth but it does cause even more issues with keeping the suction to keep them on or keeping the food from getting in them. a year ago i dropped the top full denture on tile and the front tooth they fixed fell out as a whole tooth so i super glued it and now after getting in a wreck i hit my head on the windshield and i guess on impact maybe i put too much pressure and it is slowly cracking down the middle. i have a great job now but i am still waiting for insurance but i had to buy a new vehicle and cant afford time off or new dentures. the bottom partial is also cracked along the side panel beside a hook to anchor to the anchor tooth so now it spins and sort of comes apart at this area that has a visible metal line. is there anything i can do to fix these issues? i am 34 and i just can not go to work without my teeth, but it is slowly becoming an issue where i have to glue my teeth in every hour. to provide more context about the fitting- i use at least a tube of dental adhesive a week compared to the beginning i used one every two months.
I got brand new dentures at aspen dental. They turned out to be junk. The bottoms keep breaking and the more I called to get them fixed ,the longer the the time before I could get an appointment.
