A great detail touch would be to paint some of the driver figure bits.

A bit of trivia for ya, a karting chassis is a carefully designed flex suspension made to liftthe inside rear wheel when turning. We called it the "jacking effect" back in the day. Really important for steering. Gotta get one of these now.

I had one similar back in the '80s, the drivers hands attached to the steering wheel and his arms and body moved and leaned with the wheel. My mother made a clothe suit for him. It was quick and got a lot of attention. The size was 1/4 scale. I can't remember who made it though.

Watched a NIB Koyosho F86 Sabre Nitro DF, get pulled out of the box and get flown the same day, after break in and check-out.
The poor .15 sized engine was waay underpowered for the Sabre design.
It survived a dozen flights before it was sold.
A very well assembled model with lots of detail, which created extra drag. It needed a .46 sized DF engine.
Neat little GoKart. I almost bought one back in the day.
Thanks for the Vid!.

I have 4 running nitro models from the mid to late 90s. 2 are Kyosho, 1 is a .010 OS marine engine yacht and Traxxas 4 tec. I keep them running because I can, and I like them all, that's about it.

Speed wobble? you sure its not the driver? :face-blue-wide-eyes: lol Awesome as aways!!!

I used to have a couple of electronic ignition kits for my Tmaxs that would send power to the glow plug when you got on the throttle made nitro more fun less fitilling with the high speed needle 😮
