I’m here for the yarn wall. I’m with you I think it’s beautiful, like art. I do think it helps if you move the skeins around every so often but yah leave those pretties out to keep your peepers and heart happy

Hi Rachel! I agree with others that your Flock vest colors look SO good on you. And on the topic of your Yarn Art Wall, it’s nobody’s business what you hang on your wall. It looks beautiful. And don’t yarn shops keep their yarn out in the open? Exactly 😊. Enjoy it all. ❤

Buy some cedar planks, add a cup holder to one end and hang behind the yarn on your wall. That may help keep bugs / moths away from the yarn.

I too have a hard time not covering flat surfaces. I’m proud of you for getting yours cleaned off and you have inspired me to get to work in my craft room. I had to smile about your Longaberger Baskets. I have a few too, but better yet, I live not too far from their old headquarters, which is a building shaped like a giant basket. If you haven’t seen it you should totally look it up, lol

I'm mostly a chaotic, inspiration-driven knitter. I have to be able to see my yarn to determine what my next project will be, which means that I will always have at least some of my yarn stash out in open air.

OMG, Rachel! This yarn wall sitch, is giving me more anxiety than yarn chicken! I couldn’t handle it! My extensive yarn collection arrives and each project quantity goes immediately into a sealed plastic bag. In 23 years, I have never had an issue. I give you a lot of credit for being willing to roll the dice for the sake of your “art”! You do you, but I’m too nervous natured😂 On the other hand, I love your flock vest colors and think it looks great on you!!!

I’ve also knit the flock vest. The arm holes seem huge, so I did what you plan to do and it made them much better afterwards. I’ll plan to look for you at the flock festival. My vest is also out of character color wise too. WILD TIMES.
