I feel like one con was that Disney kinda “infantilized” Pixar in a way. I say this cus during the Steve Jobs era they made a lot of films that tackled mature topics carefully. Yeah they mainly aimed towards families but they still made somewhat mature films. Dreamworks and Sony have been making tons of mature films this decade but Pixar and Disney haven’t really caught on it seems.
