We spent 48 hours living on the streets of Chicago in our VW bus, exploring some of the city's most famous landmarks and facing the challenges of living on the road in one of the largest cities in the United States.
We visited Lincoln Park Zoo, walked through downtown Chicago and along the Riverwalk, tried the famous deep-dish pizza at Giordano's, ate the traditional Italian beef sandwich, and even went in search of the famous cookie at Levain Bakery.
But it wasn't all sightseeing. We slept on the street inside the VW bus, had to deal with parking, city life, and even the difficulty of finding water to supply Magdalena (our VW bus).
It was two intense days getting to know Chicago in a very different way, mixing tourist attractions, typical foods, and the reality of traveling and living in a VW bus across the United States.

That's when our valiant Del Rey came into action and took us to the End of the World, proving that the adventure never stops. In 2025, we began a new chapter in our journey: Reaching Alaska, traveling through the Americas aboard our VW Kombi, Madalena, which rose from the ashes. A trip full of real stories, some challenges, incredible landscapes, and lots of life on the road.
