You know when you’re a Successful Ball Player when you not fighting with just the enemy team but your teammates as well

You know you’re a true ball main when you start getting 1v9 in lobbies

As soon as he started yelling about “ I’m just a hampter “ I knew he had become one with the ball

As a guy who decided to play only wrecking ball for like a year before OW2 launched, I am infinitely jealous that you got Yeatle to personally coach you.

Someone needs to make a "How to play dps with Ball as your tank" guide because it's always the dps that don't have their brains on to realize how you need to change your playstyle to work with Ball's playstyle.

As a GM ball player of 4 years now it's really exciting to watch new people try out and realize how much fun ball actually is. He is so different from the other tanks in every way! I think this video is an eye opener for a lot of people who never really tried or understood ball before. Great video overall, well played SVB! o/

As a doom player I also got flamed a lot and told to switch after one lost teamfight in the past seasons.
Players seem to think that the hero pick matters more than individual skill.
I just turned chat off completely and it helped a lot. With chat on, I not only needed to manage my own mental, but that of my teammates as well, even if they get tilted way easier than I do.
I have now managed to climb all the way to Diamond, which definitely proves them wrong!

Ball is super rewarding. It is key to understand that people who flame typically can’t play him any better than yourself. And they are in your rank for a reason. So keep improving and ball on!

As a Wrecking Ball main…….The wrecking ball hate is real. When you get your own teammates refusing to heal you…you know you are in the thick of it.

2:09 most replayed LMAO

Ball is the most fun hero in any video game ive played

The life of the ballers was rough last season, I would know man. I was just vibing in quickplay to get my mechanics and aim back up to where they were on him after taking a break from him when sombra was meta in season 1, but people still asked me to swap like bro it's just quickplay 😭

i'm a gold ball main (ball actually carried me to gold for the 1st time last month, i know i suck) and i have to say that ball has never felt so good in either ow1 and ow2. the shields on top of the armor are such a game changer, it protects my armor plate from poke and regens by itself so good and that's not even including adaptive (over)shields on top of the body shield. you have no idea how much time i wasted getting megas because the supports' skill level is just as "meh" as i am (same sr). when ball is going well it's the most fun i've had on any video game in maybe 5 years

edit: i also get abuse from players who don't understand ball. it's pretty crazy some of these guys are actual adults. they'll get toxic even if you have the most damage and elims and you're tanking.

As a Ball main I feel vindicated. I almost cried watching this. Awesome video. Welcome to the Ball family SVB

with your connections with many 4.6 players you can do very unique series of "I spent 10 hours learning...." with coaching from the very best) was super interesting to watch

Honestly so cool that you tried this out! I'm a hardcore Ball main and the toxicity is insane, and people never consider it. Even now with Ball being good, I still get flamed off the hero select screen more times than I can count.

The reason people don’t like hall is because they always remember the players that just play like a complete joke of a human. They just tend to run through the entire enemy team, push adaptive shield, run away while in hall form to avoid headshots, repeat. Ball’s play style is less around, well being a tank and acts more like a flanker with a ton of hp. I would rather fight a sombra tracer combo as Ana or mercy than fight one ball player as was described purely because of how annoying it is. It’s not a Bad tank it’s a tank that doesn’t easily fit the way other tanks work.

Loved this vid a lot, and the climax with that Monte Carlo game was gold 😂

Love how the positive Mercy whipped out the Pistol to help with the Ana at the end. Better target priority than the toxic DPS shooting the horse

All the hate for playing ball is exactly what it's like to be a sym player before seagull made people realize she's actually good

I love how SVB goes to type "ggez" and immediately changes it to ggwp instead
