A few observations:

- you'll need to update some stuff when you get to 100+ episodes 😜
- I might have made the compiling of the episodes/episode pages as part of the build process instead of relying on in-browser network requests and javascript. Not sure if that would have taken you longer than the JavaScript solution (it would take me longer because I'm not well versed in bash, but I feel like for you it wouldn't be that much of a difference 🙂). That would make your site be even faster and it would work for people that disable JavaScript for whatever reason. But yeah - you're already generating the episode pages based on the number of episodes you have, so you could also toss in some search and replace operations to just spit out the complete page 🙂

Really cool stuff though - thank you for walking us through it, even if it's a long video(but honestly I don't know how you'd do it in a shorter video while still explaining things 😅)!

One interesting feature for your site could be an automatically generated RSS/Atom feed, so people could subscribe to your content via traditional news readers. This feature is almost on every geek blog/site, it often comes with using CMS or a static site generator. In your case, it could be fun Bash scripting challenge.

I've been using Linux since 1992, who knew that bash could be entertaining :D
