Dogma has to be at the top of our list of movies that have made us laugh the most, the surprising actors that kept popping up and the overall greatness of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon together; definitely a movie we'd watch again!

One of my favorite things about this movie is at one point Kevin Smith told Jay that they have real actors in this movie like Alan Rickman and Jay‘s response was to learn, not only all of his lines, but everybody else’s. He even had Kevin test him and he did indeed know everybody’s lines. Rather astonished, Kevin asked him Why did you do this to which Jay replied I didn’t want to piss off that Rickman dude.😂😂😂

40:28- Nope, not a Platypus; it's Alanis Morissette. Isn't that ironic? A little TOO ironic; don't you think?

This is why I love the easter egg in Thor Ragnarok, when they cast Matt Damon to play Loki during that little play in Asgard.

Apparently Alan Rickman loved hanging out with Jason Mewes and called him an “American National Treasure” lol

I saw this in the movie theater in high school and I still remember when Rufus said he was the 13th apostle and got left out of the Bible because he was black, this couple got up and walked out 😂

Snoogans.

For those that collect physical media, 4k release with a steelbook comes out in December.

2:35 ...I think it was a genius touch to put George Carlin as the priest in this movie... if you ever seen his stand up comedy shows about religion, you know why....

This film was a hostage situation by Weinstein Studios , happily Smith got the rights back . Smith heard the film was being protested so he went down to check it out, he was interviewed by a local news station and was on tv protesting his own film 👏👏👏👏

My theory is that since Jay and Silent Bob have a cameo in Scream 3, they must be in the View Askewniverse, which means Alanis Morrissette is God in the Scream series.

Y'all didn't recognize your fellow Canadian, Alanis Morrisette, was God?

Jay Mewes was so nervous about screwing up in front of Alan Rickman that he not only memorized all of his own lines, but all the lines for everyone in the movie.
