I knew as soon as i heard the way he acted during the 911 call. Someone who found a dead pet would have more emotion.

Thank you to those of you who have said kind words towards my daughter and to those of you attacking her best friend please leave her alone she really did her best

For those asking why the friend didn’t do this and that, even if she had called  the police that wouldn’t have save her life.

The friend was in a different province if she called 911 it wouldn’t have been dispatched in Marie’s city and by the time it was all figured out and police showed up to Marie’s house she would have been gone.

Blame the man who did this, blame our weak criminal system, he clearly has no remorse and will probably get out at an age where he could still have another family.

Without doubt the best true crime reporting series. Factual, detailed, considerate to victims and without American hype and sensationalism.

When you´re being questioned on your partner´s death and you crack a smile at any point of the questioning - you did it!!

“I’ll accept that on her behalf.” Broke me.
May God soothe the hearts of those who love her and miss her. Rest well beautiful Mimi Marie. 🕊️

I felt like I solved this in my head the moment i heard the baby fathers 911 call, what do you mean ur scared to give cpr cause shes bleeding? sir this is the mother of your two children and your so nonchalant about finding her unalived so brutally? put that scumbag under the jail!

That poor girl, she never had a chance to escape that monster. 😢 This case is too close to home

The fact that he brought his CHILDREN when "finding" her.
Oh, my dear, that's so heartless it unbelievable.
However the worst is he isn't the first to do that.
If there's a true sign of psycopathy this is without doubt it!

I grew up with Marie, she was my next door neighbor. Such a sweet girl with a lovely smile and laugh. She did not deserve this. Rest in peace, sweet Marie. ❤

I knew it as soon as i heard his 911 call like he is reporting the weather, no emotions at all.

I hope the children are with her family & not his.

25 years is too little. Poor girl. So sorry for her family.

25 years is really isn't enough, she's really beautiful RIP 😢😘

Red flag 🚩 when the ex calls the deceased wife horrible names…… no tears, no emotion….

Marie deserved to live a long life with her children. My Deepest sympathy to her family ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Oh God, how horrifying 😳  to be on the phone while it happened and to have the poor young children witness it. 😢  Pure evil 😈

Ive been through domestic violence with my ex husband.  I absolutely understand the fear she had felt. If there is one thing i learned,  its listen to the women in your life if they speak about fear for their safety.  Make sure they have someone to keep them safe, especially during that seperation time. Men who want that control over women hate seeing them leave

This is absolutely heartbreaking😢 💔 I've cried. I didn’t know her personally, but I wish with everything that she were still alive today, alive to be there for her children.  What happened is profoundly unfair in every possible way. So many lives have been destroyed because of  Jean Fenelon’s actions.
How could anyone take the life of the mother of their own children? Did he not stop to think that these children will now grow up without their mother—forever? Who will care for them the way she would have? What does it mean to never see or be held by your mother again? I can’t begin to imagine the pain these children will carry from losing someone who loved them so deeply.
This was a cruel, selfish, and devastating act. Marie Gabriel deserved to live. Her children deserved their mother. The fact that he continues to live while her children are left with unimaginable trauma is infuriating. My heart aches for Marie Gabriel and for her children. This should never have happened. They did not deserve this. Such a beautiful warm young lady gone.  🥲

This was a very sad watch, I recall the morning it was on the news and the details were heart wrenching. Sad that this lovely young woman was caught in a cycle of intimate partner violence, may she rest in perfect peace. My condolences to her loved ones, her children and her best friend who is now also forever changed by this experience. I supported a friend through the exact situation for eight years: the calls crying the long nights on the phone the bruises and trips to the ER  and the constant making up and breaking up. It destroyed our friendship as she chose him over her friends and kids and ended up in prison alongside him. I’m glad Marie was strong enough to attempt to walk away and they say that’s always the most dangerous time. I’m glad she had the love and support of her best friend right ´til there end.

Sorry to everyone involved. May her ex rot behind bars.
