Thanks for taking us on this new altar tour, it feels very sweet and cosy ❤ And you're right, an altar does not need to be aesthetically pleasing. As a fellow chaos practitioner (which by the way your channel name says practioner?), the most important thing is efficiency and that it has to actually work. However as a Libra rising, aesthetics are important for me because beauty/art/personal taste I guess helps regulate my nervous system. I like an altar that feels aesthetic (to me) because looking at it soothes me. Just like sometimes I will not be using tarot cards in the traditional way for weeks or months, but I will often just look at their artwork before bed because it calms me. I like to see each deck as a mini museum I get to visit whenever I want. So like, no need for aesthetics as an absolute rule, but also, don't discount it if does add value to your life or practice. Nuance as always ☺
