If you ask me, Shackleton‘s captain would be the hero of that story, he navigated nearly 800 miles in a small boat with just a Sexton in heavy seas. Sometimes they would only be able to see the sun for a moment per day. Keep in mind at that distance if you’re off by even one or 2° you’ll miss your target by more than 60 miles.

You inspire me harry. We are around the same age and I just started my solo traveling journey a couple years ago and plan on going to as many places as I can before I die! Ever since I first started traveling solo, I’ve been trying to make it a goal to go to at least one new country each year. I recently just got back from a trip in Oaxaca, Mexico. I think you would enjoy it there if you haven’t been.
