Don't forget to add in the scammer artists and riggers in the mix. So now you look at the cheaper options (which is still a good amount of money) and not event want to take that risk.

You start to gouge and gate your services behind purity (Which is fancy word for political and social compliance) tests.
Leaflit just works on liberating vtubers off it.

Where my riggers at?

The pricing I can understand for people who are artists and riggers for VTuber models, but when you delay for 7 months and then refund it because you couldn't get it done, I don't have any sympathy for  those same people being replaced by AI.

People who control a portion of the market will always blow a gasket when innovation and/or new tech threatens that control.
To all the artists and riggers out there, you won't gain long term sympathy or customers by attacking people for using AI.

just one letter change and jesus christ lol

@donpbongwater is currently working on a 3D version of this called Vtuber Pro. It not only creates and rigs models, but replaces your streaming software completely.
Not only does it do everything that OBS does, but it can make scenes, allows multiple people to use it at the same time with models or live cams and places them in a 3D world.

Like you said, this is the beginning for this stuff. It's only going to get better from here.

I'm not a fan of AI, but the rigging and artist market is absurd at times.
Some more well-known ones charge around +4-5k for a single model. Know one streamer that said they spent over a year in savings for the art and rigging, and they waited about 2-3 years to get it done.
There's also the artists/riggers that limit on what you can do and use the art with, else they'll DMCA/copyright it. Some ask for % commissions on any item sales with it. Fuck that.
I think Ironmouse said she's put more than 50k on models alone or it was some other big vtuber.

TBF, compared to actually well-made 3d- and 2d-models, the ai-models DO look like ass. But this tool mainly exists to make the jump from "PNG-Tubing" (No model or cam, just a PNG representing the streamer somewhere in a corner, maybe a GIF for when they are talking) to an actually animated model easier. Cause that jump requires cameras, hardware and software capable of translating whatever movement the streamer is doing to whatever model they are using. That shit is expensive, and even free-to-use models require it.

Also, for the part of "they lack a personality"...those existed for at least 6 years now. There's people who paid for ridiculously well-made models and advertising, only to fall off within a few weeks due to a boring personality and an unattractive voice.

As for the Artists/Riggers? Yeah, quite a few of them felt way to comfortable with being unavoidable microcelebreties. I know at least of one V-Tuber that has tried to get a newer model or even just a touch-up of her old one since...i think 2021... only to get repeatedly ghosted by artists/riggers. This went to the point of her community members gaining the required skills to at least make models for an aprils fools joke BEFORE she got an actual profesionall model (apart from the ancient one, relying on long-since deprecated tech).

Edit: fixed spelling errors.

I like your idea of interactive effects.. I wonder if you can't get their rigging application to work with just a transparent png or screenshot of yourself on cam. Maybe just apply some cartoon/ anime filter effects in advance. Would be a funny way to make an uncanny valley avatar of yourself with IRL images lol.

As soon as AI hit the collective market, this was (somewhat sadly) par for the course; on one hand good for people who can't afford the model and to weed out the scammers that create cheap bullshit, on the other hand bad since some actually good artist will get overshadowed by this cheap option....and "an AI won't becbothered by wrong-think" ......eeeeeeeeehhh, you oughtta check some earlier and still current topics, like it's bias about the commie-cough-times, tried to get some arguments for both sides for comparison on individual devices, and guess which side fot the preferential treatment?
AI is the riggerest rigger that even rigged, depending who does the teaching.

Wasn't there a song about riggers in paris?

its re balancing the market riggers and artist charge ludicrous amounts for their work this ai leaflit just made has made the cost for entry in vtubing nothing so riggers and artists are pissed because the easy money is gone give this a few years of work and leaflit is going to be able to make the ai do full models put the fries in the bag artists put the ice in my drink riggers your time has come

People who are upset about AI are wasting their outrage.  AI is here.  It's not leaving, no matter how many temper tantrums you throw.  It's going to get better and better and it's going to permeate EVERY industry.  In my industry (software engineer) if you are not using AI to help you code, you are already less likely to find employment in the market because every manager with half a brain knows that a decent coder using AI tools is going to vastly outpace any coder not using AI.

Why do I watch a YouTuber I don't care about talking about a Vtuber I don't care about who talks about a vtuber I don't care about who talks about vtube drama I don't care about?
And why am I training the algo to lead me into these weird places by leaving a comment here? What's wrong with me?

One thing I can't stand is the fact that people commission art and then the artist tries to reclaim their art piece. It's like; no bitch. I paid you for that art and regardless of whether you like me or not, that doesn't give you the right to steal my shit that I paid for. It's like going into a restaurant and paying for a gourmet meal, then the cook comes out and takes it back because he doesn't like your table etiquette. The artist has the right to claim that that was created by them, but the purchaser has the right to claim ownership of the piece in question. Unless stated in the purchasing contract, the purchaser has the right to do anything they want to with that artwork. P.S. My favorite unit is the apocalypse tank and it's one of the ones I use the most. The Scrin devastator is a close second.

As far as I remember, it once was a V tuber contest. And the winner was the guy with potato model. Like literal potato with mouth and eyes.  So, the model actually doesn't matter that much.

I can't make it 5 minutes into the video. You talk so arrogantly like you know what it takes to even make the professional grade models. Don't even know how much they actually run. Don't understand the asset development that needs to happen. Have no idea what you are doing at all. Why did you bother making this video? Because you believe deep down you had some entertainment value or something? You're basically bottom of the barrel slop on youtube at best.

I'm not mad or angry about this, just really confused. Is this what trump supporters think when they talk to themselves that they backed the right candidate? Like hell, bruh. Re-evaluate your content, especially if this is like my first impression of you. Its the last. You need some actual talent or charisma to pull this stuff off. Ratio show it.

Ai is better deal with it
