Hello everyone!
This is Oji is Ojinda! Today, we visited Gyeongju.

When you think of Gyeongju or Andong,
you're sure to see many beautiful country houses.

Today, among those beautiful country houses, we visited one that was incredibly well-maintained.
It was the home of a prominent family dating back to the Joseon Dynasty.

Currently, the grandparents live there,
and the rest of the house, except for the main building, is also operated as a hanok stay for guests.

To tell you more about this country house,
our grandson appeared on the video today to introduce it.

This house, for example, is currently registered as a cultural heritage site.
Perhaps that's why the main building, west building, east building, and even the men's quarters
have all preserved their original appearance.

Furthermore, for a house like this to be designated as a cultural heritage site,
it must have a "ㅁ"-shaped structure.

While touring the country house with us,
we heard detailed stories about the house, which we might not normally know,
and I lost track of time.

While I realized how difficult it would be to maintain this space,
I was also able to do so. Thanks to your excellent management, I was able to learn about Korea's unique traditional houses, and I felt truly grateful.

It was a country house where I could feel the charm of a traditional house, and sleep soundly on a silk blanket filled with my grandmother's love. It was such a blissful experience :)
