I have been waiting for this video for so long!! My curls are just like yours and my haircuts have always ended in a triangle. I couldn't get there with Wayne's video because I felt like it needed more and you nailed it! Must be the 80s thing!! Thanks so much for a great video!

I watched this video a few days ago, then I went and watched a bunch of Wayne's videos. I'm having a lot of pain lately, so I didn't think I felt up to trying it, but I didn't like the way my hair was looking. So, earlier today, I just pulled up the sections of my hair, didn't cut it, but just watched how it fell when I let go. Doing that, I realized it really wasn't taking length off, but adding more layers. I didn't have time to try it then. Like I do so many times, on a whim, I grabbed my hair shears this evening, sectioned my hair (dry—I may try the wet cut later), and started in. Four cuts later, and my hair looks so much better! Thanks, Lenora! This was sooo easy! I'm anxious to see how it looks when I wash it and style it tomorrow! I'll try to remember to come back and let you know. 😉

Hey there Lenora! Thank you! That's what I've been looking for. I know Wanye Tuggle's method is good, but I've always thought it was missing the more layers in the back & sides. I didn't see that other video of his.

Thank you for such an easy guide. I have hair like yours, and have cut it myself for decades. Too many stylists have no caucasian curly hair training. The beauty of curly haircuts, no one can tell if the layers aren’t even! It hides any boo boos…

That looks really good! I really want to get my hair cut, but I’m afraid to do it myself. I don’t feel like Wayne explains enough for me to feel confident cutting my hair, but this was a better explanation for me. I’m saving this to watch again, and maybe I’ll feel brave enough later lol. Thanks!
