thank you so much for this video. i have autism so buying new clothes is always difficult, as i just want to wear what i have already forever. but the elastic in my shorts somehow got ruined. now i can save my shorts and stay comfy

Any tips for doing this if the elastic is sewn over in both the top and bottom? The elastic would become completely loose when stitches are removed.

My mistake in the past was not allowing enough stretch for my hips which are 9 to 10 inches bigger than my waist. What was I thinking...Lol. Thanks for sharing
