to comments about his family. The Jackson's are legendary artist, and an important part
of my childhood. Today's artist could learn a lot from these seasoned performers.

I don’t know why people always putting down The Jacksons they came from a loyal Family some things we don’t know about their story I been a Jackson Family since I was very young ..

This just goes to show that kids are all different, even if they grow up in the same environment. Joseph wasn't a monster of a father, and raising so many children in a tough neighborhood requires a tough palm, especially if you want them to become superstars. Michael was more sensitive than his brothers, therefore it took a toll on him and he took it more personally. Now, MJ never said he was "abused", just that he would get beat, and since he would talk back at Joseph he would get it worse than his brothers. If you think about it, it's ironic, because all the brothers enjoyed performing and described their hard working childhood to stardom with joy, and the most successful and talented of them (Michael) always resented he didn't get to be a "normal" boy, while his brothers enjoyed it. I think Michael just needed a more loving figure in his life and Joseph didn't provide that as much as he should have.
