The fact that this is being filmed at the very end of the day makes me so happy. This is one of my favorite times of day, in the park, maybe my favorite. That last ride of the night on your way out, no one is there, flying through the line, all the sounds and music of the park and the queue are so much more clear and echoey because there isn't a crowd full of voices dampening it. There is something so uniquely magical about it and it's a feeling that's super difficult to describe....UGH! I love it.
Been going on this ride when I was 8 years old. Now I'm....older and at a point I about to reach the age of the old man in the rocking chair. Anyone else reaching that point yet?
My god you can smell the ride from this video, and that is sooo soothing, the water spray from the first drop, it brings back awesome memories from childhood.
I remember riding Pirates, Indiana Jones, and Splash Mountain with my dad all within an hour of the park closing in the early 2000s. Some of my favorite memories growing up.
It is magical. Thank you. My first time was in the mid 1960s when I was 4. It was evening and my dad rode next to me. He passed in 1977. Thank you for sparking one of my favorite moments with my dad. I felt no fear because my dad was a combat veteran that scared the scariest ghosts, goblins, and pirates away. Absolutely priceless. 🏴☠️🖤
Wow, this brings back so many fond memories of myself and family growing up in California, moved in the early 90s. Loved this ride, remember it well, and I also smell the water and musty aroma of the ride itself. I'm 66 now. Thanks for the memory.
In the 70s my dad worked for a company that was part of a group of corporations that would rent the park once a year on corporation night. Thats exactly how every ride was just walk right to the boat. As a kid it was heaven to go six or seven times in a row then do the same at haunted mansion. Great days the 70s were.
Pirates of the Caribbean is by far my most favorite Disney attraction, there's just something about it that's indescribably magical. Every time I go to Disneyland, it's the first and last ride that I go on.
