Sami went from "this is as good as Attack on Memory" to "Yeah, 6-7, needs to be more fun." Fantano, stop with your mind control voodoo magic. It's probably why Cal hasn't left yet.

personally, i like the rawness of the production and the chaotic edge of the mixing. the way the drums are placed at the front way above the vocals gives the album a lot of energy and makes it seem like a hectic live performance. i feel like the strong hooks are still there, maybe not as immediate as Attack on Memory, but still decent in a different way. It is a slightly different feel, which i like because i wasnt just looking for another Attack on Memory, and i feel like I got something filled with punch and a great deal of urgency. I would give it an 8, but good review regardless.

I have to very strongly disagree with Anthony. I'll admit that the production wasn't as good as the last albums, but the songs themselves were all very good. I've listened to this album dozens of times already. It's my favourite album of 2014 so far.

I actually think the drums are better on this record. They're just nuts, frenetic pace, and feel like could self-destruct at any time but somehow keep it together. Really enjoying this record. Fav songs: Now Hear In, Psychic Trauma, Pattern Walks, I'm Not Part of Me

This is a visual example of how influential Fantano is. The dude is super intelligent and articulate and I felt a little embarrassed honestly for Sami. Progressively through the review Sami is more and more swayed by Anthony's opinion until he basically just repeats whatever Ant says in the end of the review. Fantano is simply dominating YouTube reviewing. This might not be an accurate statement, but he is probably the biggest threat/rival to Pitchfork for indie music reviews.

this other guy went from thinking it was as good as "attack on memory" at the beginning of the review to saying it wasn't that good at all by the end of the review....that was a pretty quick change of heart.
