"I don't really like druid" xd

I remember watching your videos back in the days before Classic Release. I really like that you seem to become more chill. Back then you were so puristic and now you seem to enjoy the whole ride a lot more. Looking forward to your new videos

Enjoy wow forever while it lasts. It seems Microsoft and Ion just created that team as a wow retirement c team and said go fuck around. I am sure they didnt expect wow forever to turn out to be so big. And the moment wow forever becomes bigger than retail, and it will, its just a matter of time. Microsoft will monetize the shit out of this and you will see devs being fired left and right. I give this game 2 years max before it turns to retail 2.0 cosmetic gacha game.

Enjoying the balanced commentary Alex. Keep it coming

I do not mind the Skyborn elves as a playable race. My issue is that they are available to both factions. This does not feel classic. Additionally, the Zephras Isle starting zone being instanced rather than in the world or even on the map is in direct opposition to the WoW Forever design pillars.

The recently announced in-game trade warning is just Blizzard trying to pass the buck to the users rather than Blizzard themselves preemptively banning bots.
It is very concerning if Blizzard engineering cannot detect bot activity separate from real players.

Madskillzzhc can detect bots and he is just a player with standard user privileges.

I really wish I could buy beta access without the Skyborn and cosmetics bundled in. I'd like to be able to give feedback and bug reports without supporting business decisions that I disagree with.
Unfortunately, beta keys on 3rd party sites are unreasonably priced.

Overall I am very excited for WoW Forever. If Blizzard backs up their words with actions regarding banning all bots and gold sellers, this will be the best iteration of World of Warcraft we have ever had.

The czr/mega-server stuff is worse than classic(which had proper realms+layering at least), which is fucking crazy

The sad part is that it works too because people doesn't really seem to care right now, but they 100% would if they actually thought this thru and how it affects the game

“Am I excited for wow forever - not really” 😂

There are a lot of major major red flags - and the concerning thing is the devs are in full cope / gaslight mode since beta began about SmurfElf story, gearing & drops, lvling, power creep etc...

It's only polarizing if you're terminally online, unplug from the matrix and just play what you wanna play, don't let your opinions be molded by randos online

We didn’t have so much streamer stuff back then and if the games ruined by bots it’s gonna suck

Looking forward to the next couple of weeks to see what they tune.. not sure yet, but after playing twow for many years they have big shoes to fill..

The reason for the polarization is that most people already had strong opinions on this before it was even a thing.

Older, wiser Alexensual is peak Alexensual

the tauren auto running into the mailbox lol

holy shit...are we back?!

Great video! I like that idea of the additional wings to dungeons in order add bosses. I wouldn’t be surprised if they add this in the future, if the community keeps bringing it up!

Imo, if they go extremely agressive on frequent bot ban waves and tuning gold trading, add ranked bgs, and tune layering right, it'll be gg.

Right now the game is good enough that i'm excited to play it and invest time. But if bots/rmt is rampant, layering is bad, and they don't add ranked bgs within a year, i'll dip.

There is a bunch of red flags and reasons why I won't be playing forever. Here's 10:

1. Devs have no clue what they are doing. They sure are listening to the community but the it's always half baked solution that have to be re-done later down the line with a lot of pushback. They didn't even wanted SD models they did it last minute when those big streamers were at their HQ giving them feedback. There is no way they are going to double the effort and make everything SD and HD.
2. Just wait for that shop to go live, its going to be a "OMG how come they did this to us". Just listen to their wording on those interviews "We have nothing to announce at this point", "We currently have no plans for such thing". It's always more of disclaimer than straight up reasurance.
3. There is such a big backlash with skyborne yet they are playing stupid... "Yea we expected some pushback", dude, no one likes them!
4. We're keeping it about Azeroth and then they make completely separate zone for Skyborne not even in the same plane of existence ... sure, I believe you.
5. They say they are banning bots, gold sellers/buyers but again its always half truth. It's private server situation once again just with Blizzard employees, where some are favored over others.
6. Banning people for stupid names is just plain stupid. Getting politics and real life activism in games is just not a good practice. You're always going to step on someone toes. It's just bad for the game.
7. Layering is a mess and I don't think they will be able to make it work.
8. Blizzard have to make a lot of money for Xbox and this is the only reason why they are doing what they are doing. They are not kind hearted, they just want your money. It's not that devs are not passionate but its higher management who has the last word. It's always going to be money over gameplay.
9. I don't care about 30$ for the Skyborne but what I do care is putting game content behind the pay wall. Maybe they are a shitty race right now but what about down the line what else can you expect to be behind the pay wall.
10. That WoW Forever trailer is just pure garbage. It sets up a mood for what's to come. Disney princess that plays with all forest animals and they live happily ever after. Sure feels like War is back in Warcraft.

In general I like what they did with WoW Forever, sure I disagree with a few stuff but in general untill they add the token I will play the game.
