Robert Irwin is giving his mom, Terri Irwin, her flowers. The wildlife conservationist honored his mom during dedication night and "Dancing with the Stars" and got choked up as he revealed it is the "honor of his life" to carry his dad's legacy. Robert also talked about the special moment when his sister, Bindi Irwin, joined him and his mom in the ballroom and sent a message to anyone experiencing grief. "Dancing with the Stars" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and next day on Hulu.

Can I remind everyone here that these powerful words are coming out of a 21 year olds mouth. The level of maturity, wisdom, spirituality, insight that he is pouring out is remarkable. This is an outstanding member of human society and a member of an outstanding family. This makes me proud to be Aussie.

This was the first time I ever saw Robert Irwin getting so emotional before during and after his performance last night! I think Steve would say something like “Crikey, what an incredible man Bob has grown up to be!”

Robert’s mum Terry should be credited to raising 2 beautiful amazing children after the loss of Steve especially when the kids were so young when he died.

His dad would be so proud of him. We all miss Steve like a teasured relative but Robert was forced to grow up without him. Terri did amazing keeping Steve's memory alive for her son.
