I did not even have surface level knowledge of Allah's Names & attributes till this series.Thank you Sheikh, for always inspiring our hearts and minds. May Allah subhana guide us to purify what is inside and outside of us.

Throwing light on some unsettling isues that we need to be wary of, you don't shy away from explaining the truth, with wisdom.
I particularly resonated with the explanation of fitna in reference to the beautifully recited verse of Surah Ankabut. Through situations, Allah pulls out something from the heart, that even we are unaware of, and puts it right before our eyes. Something that needs to be corrected or defeated; like a fear, a negative trait or tendency, suppressed grief. Whether we look away and deny, become obdurate and justify or accept and rectify, is what matters.
The tafseer of Surah Nur verse 26, another commonly misunderstood verse, brought much needed clarity.
The deep insight on how satan promises to change creation, food for thought. And explaining satan's playbook  in light of current pervasive issues, like the 'isms' .could use a whole new lecture.


🕋Al Quddus; Purest Being/The Holy/Most Sacred/free from any imperfection,impurity, flaws.
Name mentioned in Surah Hashr 59:23, coupled with an attribute, Al Munazza; no impurity,fault or deficiency can be attributed to Allah, nor His actions, commands and prohibitions. He is Transcendent, above and far from any imperfection that His creation attribute to Him.
▪️it is our duty to attribute to Allah the best of assumptions which are free from any impurities
▪️Allah is not like anything and nothing is like Him

Allah is above anything that people attribute to Him out of injustices, emotions, arrogance, misguidance etc.
🪻'SubhanAllah' entails the meaning that Allah is Transcendent, Exalted & Holy & free from all imperfection. The Transcendence of Allah subhana is mentioned in the Quran in🔹 @8:46 Surah Al Isra 17:42-44 ( highlights that though Allah is Exalted and above all, He still exercises forgivess and mercy over His power and punishment, on His creation)
💜Allah's Holiness is a key element in his Greatness, Authority and Sovereignty. His laws n authority, rules and parameters can never be with ill treatment to others. His laws are not flawed, mischievious or ill natured. Allah is Holy His Sovereignty is Holy. Holiness of Allah is the heart of tauhid, free of shirk.
💫We connect to this name by instilling purity in our intentions n actions aligned within Allah's parameters, and follow Allah's guidance, prohibitions and commands.@28:18 Hadith Sahih Muslim 1015 Prophet SAW lays down the way on how to do this. (Surah Muminum 53:51 & Surah Baqarah 2:172 Allah only accepts what is pure). @29:25 Prophet SAW continues to explains why a prayer may not be accepted, through a hypothetical scenario explaining that Allah will not give through unclean forbidden sources, nor gives provision to use in unclean impure ways.
🔺Allah is pure and only accepts acts of purity from clean lawful ways (good and clean is what Allah made permissible & impure and unclean is what He made impermissible)
🔺Allah does not accept duas to give through unclean unlawful ways (a Holy Lord does not engage in unholy things with you)
🔺Believing in the name Al Quddus, requires that Allah's guidance, commands and prohibitions are not interpreted or changed to suit personal desires and whims (explained with examples)
🔺Part of Allah being Holy means He is fair and just to everyone & rewards good efforts and intentions, rejects ill intentions and doesn't reward people who don't make effort. (refuting the concept of free Islam) The Quran exhorts us to increase ourselves in purity and taqwa @40:00 Surah Al Ankabut 29:2-3. Fitna in this verse refers to bringing out the reality & truth in someone's heart. We are put to trials n tests to see our efforts and how we respond.
🔺Holy also means that Allah set up a system and laws of this life and universe where like are suitable for like, and Allah favours good and right, things, people, actions For good and right people, things, purpose, goals and intentions @51:03 Surah Nur 24:26, revealed to defend Hazrat Aisha RA, when she was accused. Verse guides that people suit people who are like them. Also, if you live your life in halal then good things are suited for you.
🗝️leaning only towards Allah's mercy, is an excuse to not make efforts to make amends and take corrective measures
⛓️‍💥@21:21  satan's play book (explained in reference with Surah An Nisa 4:119-20); satan will not direct you straight to misguidance 🔹first it makes confusion and doubt so you loose your way🔹replaces with something else e.g a hope, wealth, power, worldy success. replaces with a new purpose and a false sense of comfort with it🔹then it commands and controls. Quran is a fortress and a healing against satan's play book.
🧭Quran exhorts one to increase ourselves in taqwa and piety and purify our intentions and actions.
💜 Allah cannot be tricked, He goes into our hearts💜
