Thank you for the tear down. Most companies won't reveal their "secret sauce", so it's nice to see that you present this product in way that seems very trust worthy. I just ordered the T20, and I can't wait to roll tubes and opamps to see what this little guy can do. 😃

Thanks for the teardown and explanation of the board's components. A very convincing reason for a purchase to me. Only thing I would immediately replace are the samxon capacitors.

Espero que pongáis el idioma español en los manuales y en los menús de los equipos , Dado que el español tiene cerca de 635 millones de hablantes en el mundo , Un saludo desde Barcelona

In my opinion if Aiyima was looking to upmarket their outstanding products, we wish that they did not bend to the will of opinions and demands for PFFB, (global feedback), and designed the A20 with local feedback as the A07 series for a purer execution that the high-end demands.

Here is why...PFFB is great for measurements, but it doesn’t automatically mean better sound. My Douk D100 (PFFB) measures cleaner, yet my Aiyima A07 Max (no PFFB) is audibly sharper, more immediate and musically engaging on Fluance Reference towers.

There’s a reason many high-end Class-A/AB designs (e.g., Pass/First Watt, Ayre, even Naim’s minimal-GNFB approach) avoid heavy global feedback: more loop gain can smooth response but can also blunt transients and raise higher-order artifacts if not executed perfectly. PFFB is not without trade-offs

Thanks for this very good review! I just bought T2 and A20, I use it in a big room with Klipsch Cornwall 4😊 My main amps are Accuphase E280and a 300B tube. Obviously the Aiyimas are not on the same level, but they have a special, very satisfying sound, They sound clear, with much detail, natural and very good balanced. THE bass is controled and nice "rolling".
I tuned the T20: JJ Ecc83S Gold tubes, Studer900 power supply. Now I want to change the op-amps in A20. I want to install Burson V7 vivid. Is it necessary to change the 2 op-amps or can I change only 1?
Regards from Germany😊

What is the correct size hex wrench for the screws and where can I buy one? I want to roll op-amps but I can't find a hex wrench that fits. 2mm is too big and 1.5mm is too small. There is also no fractional inch size that will fit.
