My heart broke when Alyssa's mom spoke about trying to cover the gunshot wounds her daughter succumbed to and how she tried to warm her body with her hands. If this doesn't scream MAKE OUR SCHOOLS SAFE idk wat does. OUR KIDS deserve to go to school and TO BE SAFE THERE!! They DESERVE to walk out of those school doors the same way they walked thru them each AND EVERY DAY! May that evil POS get what he DESERVES in prison! Someone there will make sure of that, best believe.
Alyssa's dad was right - all this trial showed was that his pathetic life was worth more than the 17 lives he killed and the dozens he injured - I think those 1 or 2 jurists that let him go should have had to listen to this, hear the impact statements of the parents he brutally murdered, and they should have to explain why they did what they did letting him off with so much less than he deserves
My heart breaks for these Parents. They all show the strength of their character by being able to stand so close to the murderer of their Daughter without lunging at that POS, I wouldn't be that strong. Blessed be to all of them. ❤
I can’t stop crying at each parent’s final speech. I have a 3 year old. I was in high school when Columbine happened. Our school and teachers were in shock and tried to talk to students about it. I did not grasp the craziness of events then nor of 9/11 when I was in 9th grade. I do now that I have a child.
She is 3. To think some asshole with a gun Will kill a defenseless person, this coward or in the case of our nation, these cowards, is just making you so angry you just want to get even.
I can’t imagine my child going to school in 4 years and feeling like each day could be her last. Each day in SCHOOL…. Could be her LAST. What the f*** is wrong with our nation?!
I felt what mom said, a moms love cannot be described. Especially with our daughters😢 I pray they can heal and hope he gets gets everything he deserves
Someone will get him. For comparison, Dahmer didn’t even last 5 years inside. Being the one to end him will practically be a badge of honor in prison society.
These parents heartbreaking statements unfortunately fall on the mass murderers deaf ears. The very fact that they have the capacity to set up foundations to honor their children speaks to their character and the children they were raising. I pray that no one ever forgets the names of their children that were murdered.
As someone who's been to prison, I PROMISE the death penalty is better than life in prison. Even though it's hard to swallow, they should be happy he got life over the easy way out.
