The sound, the speed! The Acela!!! I have to ride these before they are retired! Very awesome catches!!!

Something very interesting happened to me yesterday. So, I rode the Acela for the first time yesterday, very nice experience. And then when I think my day couldn’t get any better, I saw the engineer on the platform! So I went up to him, he was very nice. And he told me that we were going 144 mph for our top speed. He even showed me where the electric bell was located on the engine! It’s funny because I even showed HIM where the horns were on the engine! He even gave me some info on NEW Acelas coming in a few years. The engineer said that they would look nothing like they do now. That kind of made me sad, because I love the design of the Acelas now, and I think they look bold. Though he did say that the new engines would be more aerodynamic.

P.S. The horn and bell were a few of my favorite parts of the train! 😀
