Wow this is now on my bucket list. Getting my ears cleaned by sweaty “Ear Doctors” who’s office is a dirty street corner and their medical tool is a dirty metal stick they keep in middle of their greasy, filthy hair. With the metal jammed all the way in your ear canal, only few cm from your brain, they kindly offer “medicine” but it might as well be toilet water and start negotiating for higher price as they find crazy amount of little stones somehow coming unstuck in my now painfully sore and infected ear canal. Pretty smart by the Ear Wax-Jedi to start negotiating higher price since you’re literally in no position to argue and just want it over with before one of the hundreds of people shuffling their way pass you knocks into you and leave you more brain dead. Then they top all this off by showing a worn, crumbled paper with hand written broken english that proofs they’ve studied in the best Ear Medical school in the world. In a way you kind of have to give it to them how passive aggresive they force money out of the poor tourists without direct violence 😂
The moment he led you away from a busy public area, you should've been suspicious. They were either going to shake you down, or scam you. You also can't really haggle with them because they've got a sharp stick in your ear. Honestly, never get your ear cleaned by someone on the street. Go to a shop or ear clinic.
He doesn’t even have the headlight or anything that looks kinda good to be asking for that much!! Didn’t even take his time to dig, he was just bored poking your ear. I didn’t understand how ppl scammed like this until now!
Asking Rs 2000 for a few drops, these people are criminal try scam tourists. He is saying the guy is very clever and the camera is running so he can't do anything to make fool out of him. Those people hurt exploit foreign tourists.
