Today I'm 'challenging' myself to eat for an entire day in Changchun (the city I'm currently living in China) for under $5USD. Next time I'll choose a harder challenge because I ate like a QUEEN!

"Every 10 min, new batches are coming out of the oven". What Amy didn't say is that the next sentence is "If you're in a hurry, don't wait for it".

Welcome back! Now that Australians can go to china without visa, I am very looking forwards to see some Chinese food adventures with your parents in the most authentic way !

Not only is the food dirt cheap, you can get the full nutrition in terms of protein, carbohydrates, cellulose and vitamins due to the variety of ingredients. I suspect the average Chinese enjoys a healthier diet than the average Westerner.

I laughed with tears in my eyes when I saw you took out a full package of ketchup from your purse... 😂😂😂

Hi Amy My Wife recognized some of the area you were in today. Her sister used to live near there. We are so looking forward to returning to Changchun next summer. Brother in-law is a really good cook.

All you can eat for less then $2 US dollars?? WOW, that is insanely cheap and also so many different dishes to pick from. Imagine trying to do a $5 dollar challenge here in the states, you could barely have enough for one small meal.
