I heard DOS2 was harder than BG3… So I Beat it SOLO

The upcoming Divinity trailer got a lot of people interested in Larian's other titles, and I decided it was time to replay one of my favourite games, but as an archer.
Despite all the times I've played BG3 honour mode solo, I never considered playing DOS2 solo before.
Filmed on stream, I ran my own version of the DOS2 Huntsman through honour mode for the first time in over a year, and for the first time ever solo. How hard can it be?

Thanks to friend of the channel Sin Tee for all the DOS2 guides over the years, and a massive thanks for permission to modernize those guides myself if there's interest.

I was a running a scuffed version of the guide here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1251617377

I swear if this woman one day drops video titled "I heard Pathfinder WotR is the hardest CPRG... So I Beat is SOLO" I will lose it.

It just has to be said, you're one of the most rigorous, disciplined, intentional content creators when it comes to Bg3, and now Do2. We really are blessed to have access to your work for free like this.

I love how silly Larian games can be, despite how serious they get. Like being able to walk around as a bush or all the silly dialogue options there are

That was really brave of you to pronounce Water the right way.

I'm so happy to see people playing divinity original sin 2 still. Specially when it's you. A wonderfully, chef's kiss, DERANGED playthrough as ever, congrats!

Having a crush on Cate Blanchett is very understandable

God morgana uses every single ear worm of music from every single ost already taking up space in my mind. She makes me watch her play larian games while forcing me to want to play another 200 hours of roguelike slop

well worth the wait. I enjoy so many things about the video and your style, not to mention the edits that are just crack for my ADHD (and gel with my Very Mature sense of humour). It's always a privilege to work on these, especially seeing what you end up turning the script into. Exceptional work as always

Of course you did! Your bg3 videos were awesome for builds and general advice 😊

This has inspired me... To start a Lohse/Sabille lone wolves run.

Jaw lowkey dropped when I saw what the fuck the Devourer Set does.
I abused Apotheosis, Adrenaline and Skin Graft a lot and I never imagined there'd be a set in the game that shamelessly refills ALL of your cooldowns including "Once per battle" cooldowns. That's fucking crazy LOL

my favorite part is the different OST you use, i'm like "ooooh clair obscure my belo- IS THAT MONSTER TRAIN 2 ????"

This is spooky timing, as just today, I finished my first playthrough of DOS2 after over 200 hours in game! What a breathtaking experience. I started on Tactician, so every victory was hard-won. It's incredible to see a single character tear the game to shreds like this!

I remember playing this many years ago. It got me hooked, but I'm not a turn-based or RPG gamer, so I had extra difficulty. I spent many hours only in chapter one, and when I finally reached the final boss there, I could not beat him to save my life. I tried so much, and when I finally won, it felt so damn good. I lack the experience or imagination to try any shenanigans, so I just explore everything I can in search of more power and then repeat the same fights 500 times until I understand it well enough to win. I wasn't even playing on hard. I still remember reading a book somewhere in chapter 2 that led me to find a cool item, and it felt so immersive. BG3 is the only other game in the genre I played, and I put 700 hours in it before getting tired. Their games are so good that even people outside the genre enjoy them. I mostly play competitive FPS games.

Love that you used mewgenics music in the video, when i heard feline invader i rushed to the description to see what other music you used in the video. I also love all the bg3 builds they are very fun to use
