The reason i like the NG games is that after you suffer and grind through all the deaths you can just kind of go into a flow state and really feel like being a super powered ninja. Really great combat design until your immersion is broken because the camera decides to give you a colonoscopy or focus on a random tree.

I love the idea that Aggy hates the Tengu's grab attack because its "Broken" without realising its just the izuna jump but now you're on the recieving end

As someone who loves these games. Watching someone who’s never played them before and going straight to super hard and still have fun is just amazing.

Rest in peace Tomonobu Itagaki, thank you for these games.

I still love the fact that not only this is not the hardest difficulty and this is a tone down version of the original game.

Someone cannot consider themselves as a pro gamer until they beat the Flash whinnie the pooh baseball game

This game is the exact inverse of the Souls series in that the bosses themselves aren't too bad - it's just that to GET to the boss, you have to fight six hundred lightning-fast pinpoint-accurate dudes with eight weapons each, one of which is always a rocket launcher.

Reminder that this game happens in the same universe as Dead or Alive.

"I feel like I just hold block" into immediately getting command grabbed was way funnier than it should've been to me

How on earth could you sleep after this? If i did this, all i would hear after i closed my eyes would be "bluuaaaaaagh!" in rapid succession on infinite repeat loop.

Don't let Aggy's new pfp fool you from the fact that he's still 100% a furry!!!

I think "Messy" is the perfect word for NG2's difficulty. It's so fast and there is so much shit flying at you from all directions, when you die, you don't always know what killed you, and when you win, you don't always know what you did right. It's a wild-ass game, but there's undeniably something compelling about it

This game's plot just gets increasingly more absurd as it goes on, without ever slowing down

the dude stomping on his face unloading infinite ammo into his chest is wild

“Izuna drop will carry us through the entire game”

Palpy voice: “You are fulfilling your destiny”

The most difficult enemy in the Ninja Gaiden games is the camera.

😂

The secret to mastering games like this is to button mash until muscle memory develops autonomously from forced evolution.

Edit*

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! I posted this comment 8 months ago, and I certainly wasn’t expecting so much (if any engagement). If you disagree with button mashing, just know that I don’t care. I’m tired of opening my notifications to see so many people who just want to argue about how to play video games. I skip tutorials and then button mash until I figure out combos and special moves.
I couldn’t look things up when I was a kid and all of my games were second hand (which means that only a couple of them had the insert with the moves). I button mashed until I could do most of the fatalities in MK1 and MK2 on Sega Genesis. So now when I play games, I skip the tutorial and I figure it out. I have fun figuring it out on my own.
I will not be engaging with anymore rude and arrogant comments. (It’s weird and pathetic to be arrogant about video games anyway).
Finally, I just want to say that I love Dark Souls and Elden Ring, and if that ruins your day… Okay… I’m sure you’ll let everyone know, 🙄 you’re “brain rot” if brain rot was a person.

wait till he finds out the spider ninja "boss" becomes a normal enemy later XD

😂the way they stand over you still emptying the mag is vicious asf

The only game where regular enemies can execute you with brutal animations.
