Did I mention she doesn't get a special boss either? Poor Kurumi... At least she looks and plays amazing.

This collab felt so weird and rushed. If it was next year, there would be more time to save and more development. I was expecting Kuro to finish all the batch of new characters teased and by CNY we'd have the DAL Collab, 2 characters, 1 free, all the good stuff

This is one of those scenarios where you get her for the sake of getting her because you don’t like meta, you just wanna have fun

The problem with the Collab is that it's "Date A Live". Look back at what all the previous PGR Collab stories had. They are all IPs with a handful cast of characters with settings easy enough to make a collaborative spin off story. If it was "Date A Bullet" then it would most likely got a dedicated collaboration patch having 2 characters with White Queen and Kurumi and a member of Sage Machina as the boss since they included the Sage Machina group in this Kurumi's story. Date A Live is just a really difficult IP to build a collaborative spin off of.

Attacker with no effect?...
...that's a death sentence

I got mixed feeling when the dev livestream announced Kurumi was coming, I was both "Wow she's coming!" and "Wait, she's coming already?" since it was unusual that she came earlier than I thought after she was announced + being put together in Adelyde's patch, perceiving it as if the collab is being rushed. No affix, no new boss (Oneiros has such a sick design), story only has 8 nodes, etc. The saving grace for me is her absolutely adorable model, her first ult animation, and her VA

Solon said nobody is allowed to powercreep his wife just yet

If she was in wuwa I'm sure it was a hype

I wanted her in Wuwa so bad 😭I'd absolutely whale for her there than in PGR

Words just can't describe how much i don't care about all this stuff. Kurumi is already at home and every single pull that i get through this patch will go into her banner

DAL OSTs used in this video (from my ears)

0:01 Kotori"s theme - (Pride)

1:48 Kurumi theme - Rhapsody (Rage)

4:47 kurumi theme  - (Portrait)

Kurumi is probably my most favorite character in all anime. So when I heard she was getting a collab with a gacha game I was happy only to realize it was one I never heard of. I still installed pgr and got her, because her design is SO beautiful. Sadly id rather that she would've came to a game I actually play although that would probably never happen.

DMC collab really set the bar high, but even the BRS collab was better than this with actual Dead Master as the boss. Then there's Kurumi being an attacker that doesn't even have an affix too 😅

Just one thing Kurumi not a extraterrestrial she was a normal girl who was given powers from Mio.

You're damn right I pulled Kurumi for her fun gameplay while also not enjoying Bianca's gameplay. Hell, prior to this patch I replaced Bianca with SSS+ 21 because her rotation was using too much time at SS. Been having a great time learning how to weave Kurumi into Dark's rotation on my own.

If Kurumi is on WuWa, that would be great

4:47 ahh yes, the ultimate Kurumi soundtrack begins

This collab feels like it was made for a previous version but delayed or discontinued because of acceleration patches and dmc collab. Then for some reason they suddenly decided to make it.

I sometimes use Gen 2 characters for fun in warzone, I guess not making a bigger number and losing 50BC is somehow way too scary for many people 😭

I know it's unrelated to the collab, but I gotta say.

PGR or rather Kuro games have proven to do a great game with great collabs, great details, great music, great animations, great in-game references and more, we really cannot praise Kuro enough...

...but in terms of BALANCE, that's definitely something they tend to miss the mark completely, in fact any time I've seen people criticizing Kuro is always about the balance of the characters, it always feels like an afterthought.

For me it feels like Kuro always wanted to make a game like DMC(which PGR is heavily-based on), but they were forced to do a "meta-skilled" game that focuses more on damage numbers and time rather than stylish modes.

It's such a shame that "Trial of Simulacrum" didn't evolved into a permanent challenge, I remember the first time it was implemented in the game(that was like 3years ago?), everybody got excited for the potential of such stage, only to be thrown around patches here and there with limited characters, I have no idea why they've never focused more in it, maybe they thought it was too hard for the majority of the community, IDK.
