We found a hidden food paradise in the heart of Bangkok—and it’s tucked away in Sathorn Soi 11. 🇹🇭 Join us and our Thai friend Ek as we explore local restaurants, street food, fresh coconuts, handmade roti, and a tiny cafe hidden among the alleyways.
Along the way, we’ll discover some of the neighborhood’s local favorites and meet two amazing women who run a tiny cafe and cake shop while creating their own original artwork for the space.
But there’s one dish we absolutely have to investigate: **pad kaprao**.
After trying a local version in Sathorn Soi 11, we’ll compare it with **Phed Mark**, the popular pad kaprao restaurant co-founded with Thai food creator Mark Wiens. Is Phed Mark really worth the extra money, or can you find an equally delicious plate of Thai basil pork at a local neighborhood restaurant for less?
