The Elsa Triolet and Louis Aragon House-Museum

The Villeneuve Mill, or Maison Elsa Triolet-Aragon, is a former watermill located on the Rémarde River in Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines, surrounded by a six-hectare park. It was built in the 12th century and remodeled in the 18th and 19th centuries. From 1904, it was no longer used as a mill, but as a country residence.

Owned by the writers Louis Aragon and Elsa Triolet in the second half of the 20th century, the Villeneuve Mill became a museum after their deaths, the Maison Elsa Triolet-Aragon. The space, consisting of a museum-apartment, exhibition, conference, and performance spaces, is dedicated to the memory of the two authors, to research thanks to its 30,000-volume library, and to supporting contemporary creation.

La Maison France 5 is a French magazine dedicated to decoration and interior design, broadcast on France 5.
